Use of the service
cinemap.ai is a planning tool. Geometry, brightness, and acoustic calculations are best-effort approximations based on supplied gear data.
You're responsible for verifying every dimension and spec on-site before purchasing gear or building anything.
cinemap is not a substitute for a licensed installer, electrician, or structural engineer.
You may use the free tier without an account. Don't try to abuse the service (scraping, automated load, attempts to disrupt other users).
Data accuracy and fit responsibility
The gear catalog (projectors, screens, speakers, AVRs, amplifiers, cabinets, and any future categories) is compiled from third-party sources: manufacturer product pages, published datasheets, retailer catalogs, and structured public databases. We update entries periodically and run automated freshness checks where possible.
We do not warrant the accuracy of any spec. Manufacturer pages can be wrong, change between revisions, or list aspirational figures rather than measured ones. Distributor and reseller data can lag the manufacturer.
You must verify every dimension that matters before purchase. If a 2 mm difference in projector depth or 5 mm in cabinet width determines whether your build fits, take a tape measure to the actual unit you intend to buy.
Brightness, contrast, and acoustic figures are vendor-published. Real-world performance depends on room, content, and calibration; cinemap's brightness and RT60 calculations are estimates derived from those numbers.
Compatibility flags (UST + ALR matches, AVR channel counts, layout support) are heuristics, not certifications. The final fit decision is yours.
Pricing shown in cinemap is illustrative — convert to your locale, may exclude taxes/shipping/installation, and changes frequently. Always confirm at checkout on the retailer site.
By using cinemap.ai you acknowledge that the end user is responsible for actual fit, performance, compatibility, and purchase decisions. Daito Design Group is not liable for purchases made based on tool output, regardless of whether the underlying data was scraped, manually entered, or user-submitted.
If you find an error in our catalog, please report it to hello@cinemap.ai. We correct verified errors quickly and credit reporters in the changelog.
